[Erotisme] Quelques recherches et un vieux dessin / [Eroticism] Some research and an old drawing

Depuis février, je n'ai plus posté de dessin, je n'ai pas arrêté pour autant, j'ai avancé dans mon projet de manga. Je travaille sur les crayonnés du Storyboard qui me serviront pour l'encrage par la suite.

Since february, I haven't posted any more drawings, but I haven't stopped, I'm working on my manga project. I'm working on the pencils of the storyboard which will be used for the inking afterwards.

Mais voilà, en avançant dans ce projet, je me pose la question suivante, suis-je prêt à me lancer dans plusieurs tomes. Voici le PITCH de mon projet:

Mon héroïne est une Ninja Yosei (elf) qui chasse les Yõkai pour une primes qui vit dans un monde en guerre où les Yosei sont chassés par le Shogun.

Elle possède un pouvoir qu'elle ignore et recherche sont frère qui a disparu en la sauvant.

Voilà en gros l'idée.

But here's the thing, as I'm moving forward with this project, I'm asking myself the question, am I ready to take on multiple volumes? Here is the PITCH of my project:

My heroine is a Yosei (elf) ninja who hunts Yõkai for a bounty who lives in a world at war where the Yosei are being hunted by the Shogun.

She has a power she doesn't know about and is looking for her brother who disappeared while saving her.

That's basically the idea.

Donc pour le moment, je met en pause ce projet, du moins au niveau encrage, je ne ferais peut être qu'un One Shot d'un chapitre, on verra.

Mais je me rend compte que j'ai quelques lacune au niveau de mise en page pour mes planches. Donc avant d'aller plus loin, je vais me lancer dans l'étude de planches en réalisant des exercices de copie de planches avec mon style de dessins. Dans le but de m'entrainer à la mise ne page, à l'encrage,...

So for the moment, I'm putting this project on hold, at least in terms of inking, maybe I'll just do a one chapter shot, we'll see.

But I realize that I have a few shortcomings in terms of layout for my boards. So before going any further, I'm going to start studying boards by doing some exercises of copying boards with my drawing style. In order to train myself in layout, inking,...

En parallèle, je réalise dans mes carnets des dessins, des recherches, sans but précis.

Voici d'ailleurs deux dessins, le premier j'avoue que j'avais un but, qui en lien avec le projet de manga cité plus haut. Une des personnages que j'ai créé devait être emprisonné et subir quelques tortures, comme c'est une belle femme vous imaginé bien ce qui a bien pu lui arrivé.

At the same time, I make drawings in my notebooks, research, without a precise goal.

Here are two drawings, the first one I admit I had a goal, which was related to the manga project mentioned above. One of the characters I created had to be imprisoned and undergo some torture, as she is a beautiful woman you can imagine what happened to her.

Je l'ai nommé, étude de cordage et ligotage inspiré du Shibari (signifiant « attaché, lié », utilisé au Japon pour décrire l'art de ficeler.) Comme vous pouvez l'apercevoir, sur les côtés j'ai crayonné quelques postures différentes.

I named it, a study of roping and tying inspired by Shibari (meaning "tied, bound", used in Japan to describe the art of tying). As you can see, on the sides I've drawn a few different postures.

Et pour terminer cet article, je vous présente un petit bonus. J'ai retrouvé dans mes cartons, un de mes crayonné que j'avais réalisé en 1996 lors de mes études à St-Luc Liège. C'était pour un exercice de bande dessiné pour le cours du professeur Stanicel (oui celui qui réalisait les carricatures dans le magazine Tintin). L'exercice était de réaliser une planche. J'étais déjà dans l'idée du manga et fortement influencé par Les Chroniques de la Guerre de Lodoss comme vous pouvez le voir. Mais pas que par cela, c'était aussi ma période Vampire (je lisais les romans d'Anne Rice).

And to finish this article, I present you a little bonus. I found in my boxes, one of my pencil sketches that I made in 1996 during my studies at St-Luc Liège. It was for an exercise of comic strip for the course of professor Stanicel (yes the one who realized the carricatures in the magazine Tintin). The exercise was to draw a plate. I was already into the idea of manga and strongly influenced by The Chronicles of Lodoss War as you can see. But not only that, it was also my Vampire period (I was reading Anne Rice's novels).

Si un jour je retrouve la planche, je la posterai sur ce blog.
