Salutations à tous,

Voici mon premier billet pour ce blog. Il est donc normal de me présenter, (même) si certain me connaisse pour mes deux autres blogs consacrés à ma passion du wargame et des figurines.

Mais voilà, avant le jeu, j'ai commencé par dessiner comme la plupart d'entre nous, en mettant sur papier les héros ou personnage d'animé comme Goldorak, Albator, Ulysse 31, Saint Seiya (les Chevaliers du Zodiaque)...

J'ai donc naturellement suivit un enseignement artistique, que j'ai approfondi à St-Luc Liège dans la section Illustration/Bande dessinée pour obtenir mon graduat en 1997.

Suivit d'une période creuse à la recherche d'emploi. Mais la vie aidant, il faut bien se nourrir, j'ai donc trouvé un métier en 2000 qui n'a aucun rapport avec le monde de l'art, mais qui apporte un salaire régulier à la fin du mois. Avec le temps, j'ai laissé tombé le dessin, tout en gardant un coté créatif, peinture de figurines, créations de scénarios pour jeu de rôle,...

En 2013, je suis devenu père d'une petite fille. Aujourd'hui, à ses 7ans, ma compagne et moi-même nous lui avons transmis le virus des animes, My héro Academia, Saint Seiya, et d'autres plus girly (Sailor Moon,...).

Ce qui m'amuse, c'est de la voir dessiner les personnages des animes, tout comme moi étant enfant. Je lui donne des conseils, je lui apprend des choses. Et de fil en aiguille, j'ai repris le crayon, et je travaille doucement sur un projet depuis Aout/Septembre 2020. 

Je travaille sur un univers qui réunis deux genres que j'apprécie énormément, la Fantasy et le mondes des Samouraïs.

Je développe des personnages qui peupleront un monde qui s'inspirera de l'histoire du Japon durant la Période du Sengoku Jidai (littéralement péiode des Provinces en Guerre).

Donc je posterai, ici au fur ét à mesure de mes avancées, mes travaux et dessins sans dévoilé l'intrigue de l'histoire, bien que j'envisage de poster les planches (mais cela reste à voir).

Je posterai mes premiers dessins lorsque j'aurai pu les scanner, mais voici la dernière de mes créations, que j'ai terminé sous photoshop.

This is my first post for this blog. So it's normal to introduce myself, (even) if some of you know me from my two other blogs dedicated to my passion for wargame and miniatures.

But here it is, before the game, I started by drawing like most of us, putting on paper the heroes or anime characters like Goldorak, Albator, Ulysses 31, Saint Seiya (the Knights of the Zodiac)...

So I naturally followed an artistic education, which I deepened in St-Luc Liège (Belgium) in the Illustration/Comics section to obtain my graduation in 1997.

This was followed by an empty period in search of work. But life helping, one has to feed oneself, so I found a job in 2000 which has nothing to do with the art world, but which brings a regular salary at the end of the month. With time, I gave up drawing, but kept a creative side, painting figurines, creating scenarios for role-playing,...

In 2013, I became the father of a little girl. Today, at her 7 years old, my girlfriend and I have passed on the anime virus to her, My Hero Academia, Saint Seiya, and others more girly (Sailor Moon,...).

What amuses me is to see her draw the characters of the anime, just like me as a child. I give her advice, I teach her things. And one thing leading to another, I took up the pencil again, and I have been slowly working on a project since August/September 2020. 

I am working on a universe that brings together two genres that I appreciate enormously, Fantasy and the World of the Samurai.

I am developing characters that will populate a world that will be inspired by the history of Japan during the Sengoku Jidai Period (literally Warring Provinces Period).

So I will post, here as I go along, my works and drawings without revealing the plot of the story, although I plan to post the plates (but that remains to be seen).

I will post my first drawings when I can scan them, but here is the last of my creations, which I finished in photoshop.
